The North West Georgia Home Schoolers Group in part, originated in 1999.  We have recently gone public in order to Reach out, and help support those Home School Families who are currently living in this area.  We have remained a small group in order to bring quality functions for our children with more of a personal training in mind, rather than mass tours.  We couple that concept with "Fun Learning", at very reasonable pricing.

Our primary focus is directed toward helping parents as they endeavor to educate their children.  Our secondary purpose is to provide activities and field trips for homeschool students.

Membership in NWGaHS Group is two-fold. One, minimal participation is required. This can be helping to plan a field trip or activity, or helping with the newsletter.  Two, the cost to join is $25/year per family. This fee covers the newsletter, directory, membership cards, mailings, printings, special events, web site expenses and reduced price (or free) HS supplies sent out to members.  There is also a growing list of merchants who will honor your membership card, with a discount from their store, or for their services. Monies needed for other activities are collected when necessary.  Members are welcome to attend all Events, Activities, and Social Days scheduled.

There is currently no Membership Fee to join the email portion of the group.  We want to help those in this areas grow and benefit from the group more before we ask for a membership fee from these members.

From time-to-time this group may request information from members via surveys, polls, contests, the guestbook, or other public interactive content. Participation in these activities is completely voluntary and the visitor therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and email), and demographic information (such as your state). Contact information will only be used for the purpose of the activity you are participating in, and in the case of a contest, to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this group. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.  No information will be shared or sold to any other source!
